Sirius had never looked more beautiful than he did that day. His long black hair was brushed - which was a rare occurance - and looked soft as silk. Remus' fingers ached to touch the black tendrils that fell around his lover's face.
Remus took in the velvety softness of Sirius' black suit. It was unusual to see him looking so formal, but he pulled it off. He always pulled it off.
His eyes widened and fluttered closed as Sirius' face got closer. The kiss was gentle, sweet. Perfect.
Slowly the world around them came into focus. The alter, the crowd of cheering, clapping, crying friends. Remus blushed up at his husband, taking his hand. They walked down the aisle, their eyes locked on eachother.
A wedding is a celebration with family and friends, but all they needed was eachother.
And now that's what they'd have. Forever and a day.
